Column Capitals
We offer Tuscan capitals and bases in every imaginable size and material. If you are trying to match a particular style or do a historic restoration, we can do it too. If your column shaft sits on top of the base, we offer that option as well. If you don’t know the hole opening that you need, simply measure the circumference or the width of your existing pillar and we will figure out the hole opening for you. For our round columns, we are able to make the plinth, or the square portion of the cap/base, round. Depending on the size and use of these products, slight variations to the design may occur, including but not limited to, removal of certain details to accommodate wider hole openings. These capitals are available in fiberglass, FRP, GFRC, and polyurethane. All of our shafts, capitals and bases come with a limited lifetime warranty and will endure the harshest traffic areas and the most extreme weather conditions.

* Tuscan Cap style depends on whether or not the column shaft has a second ring above the bead or astragal to support the capital. When a shaft with a secondary ring is installed with a Tuscan cap of ”style 2”, the appearance of the cap and second ring is that of ”style 1”.
